Action for Nature is about action we can all take for wildlife in Rhondda Cynon Taf. It has been created by a partnership of many different people and organisations, combining science, local evidence and local expertise. The Plan has a technical section with actions for particular habitats and species that are of importance in Rhondda Cynon Taf, but also suggests action that you can take yourself to help nature in RCT. Click the links below to find out the best way you can take action for the nature of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
First set up in 1998, the RCT Action for Nature Partnership includes partners with a depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for the wildlife of the county, including Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Natural Resources Wales, Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, South East Wales Rivers Trust and many more. We work together to plan and deliver action for nature in the county. Membership is open to all.
Contact the Local Nature Partnership Coordinator to find out more and to become a member.
Please note that this plan does not include the area of RCT included in the Brecon Beacons National Park area. Click here to view the Nature Recovery Action Plan for BBNP.
